An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Desktop Support Engineer to join a forward-thinking organisation. You’ll take full ownership of the helpdesk queue and play a key role in maintaining and optimising IT systems, ensuring smooth and secure operations for staff.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the helpdesk queue, taking ownership of all logged calls and resolving effectively.
Install, troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and audit applications, hardware, and equipment.
Work with the ICT team to ensure infrastructure is secure, resilient, and future-ready.
Maintain up-to-date documentation for systems and configurations.
Skills & Experience Required
Windows Server Administration.
Strong knowledge of Office 365 (including Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online).
Experience building and deploying laptops/desktops using standard images.
Thorough understanding of TCP/IP, LANs, WANs, and VPN technology.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
