Project Manager

We are working with our client, a specialist in the restoration and structural improvement of historic buildings and basements, to find an experienced Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead complex and rewarding projects that blend engineering innovation with the preservation of architectural heritage.

Manage a portfolio of construction projects across the Greater Manchester area, overseeing a team of 30+
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations on-site while upholding high standards in health and safety
Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver tailored project outcomes
Handle commercial aspects such as procurement, cost tracking, and contract management
Analyse and interpret structural designs, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies
Maintain workflow efficiency and adapt to evolving site conditions and client needs
Experience managing projects in groundworks, civil engineering, or construction
A degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering (or related discipline)
Strong leadership and organisational skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across various locations
Willingness to travel within the Greater Manchester region as needed
Competitive salary of 75,000 – 85,000 depending on experience
