The Role
As a Junior Cabling Engineer, you will support the installation, termination, and testing of structured cabling systems. You will work across a variety of projects, assisting senior engineers and learning industry best practices. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in cabling, IT infrastructure, and networking, who is looking to build a career in this field.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and terminate data and network cabling across multiple categories

• Perform cable pulls and installations in line with industry standards

• Read and follow technical drawings and documentation

• Assist in the installation of containment systems and network cabinets

• Support cable testing and certification processes

• Document work and maintain accurate project records

• Work alongside senior engineers on larger projects

Requirements

• Basic understanding of structured cabling systems

• Familiarity with different cable types and standards

• Ability to follow technical instructions accurately

• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination

• Awareness of basic health & safety principles

• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work

• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude

• Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Valid CSCS or ECS card

• Entry-level experience with cabling tools and equipment

• Basic IT or networking knowledge

• Awareness of cable standards and protocols
