About the Company
We are currently working with a leading technology partner seeking an experienced and strategic IT Manager to join their expanding business. With several major projects focused on infrastructure and system migrations, this role will also play a vital part in aligning IT operations with the company’s wider vision.
The Role
As IT Manager, you will combine hands-on leadership with strong technical expertise to drive improvements across infrastructure, systems, and IT services. You will oversee all internal IT operations, ensuring compliance, security, and efficiency, while leading a team of IT professionals across multiple locations. This role requires a proactive and solutions-focused individual who can balance technical delivery with strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure), and security protocols
Ensure IT practices comply with GDPR and cybersecurity standards
Proactively monitor, identify, and manage security risks
Lead and develop a team of at least 4 IT professionals across various locations
Plan and implement company-wide IT improvement projects and system migrations
Deliver system upgrades and integrations to support operational efficiency
Ensure data integrity, system uptime, and effective disaster recovery processes
Manage IT service deliverables on a daily, monthly, and annual basis
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align IT solutions with business goals
Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers
Contribute to and oversee the IT budget, identifying cost savings and efficiencies
Requirements
Proven experience as an IT Manager or Senior IT Lead
Strong technical background in systems administration, networking, and cloud-based services (Microsoft 365, Azure)
Experience leading, supporting, and developing IT teams
Excellent project management and workload prioritisation skills
Strong knowledge of IT compliance standards, GDPR, and cybersecurity best practices
High level of self-motivation with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
