The Role
As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing the BI environment while supporting the delivery of reporting solutions. You will develop reports and dashboards from various source systems to support decision-making and operational needs, ensuring data is available and accessible for both internal and external stakeholders.
Working within the Business Intelligence & Data team, you will support the BI Development Manager with ongoing projects. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining ETL pipelines, SQL-based reporting, and developing BI solutions that meet organisational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and develop the BI environment, ensuring reliable and scalable solutions
Build and manage ETL pipelines from a variety of business systems
Develop and maintain SQL-based reporting and BI solutions
Deliver reporting solutions to support decision-making, operations, and contractual obligations
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet reporting requirements
Support BI development projects under the guidance of the BI Manager
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Business Intelligence Developer
Strong experience in developing and testing reporting solutions
Solid knowledge of MS SQL Server (2012–2022) for data warehouse development and querying
Experience with MS SQL Integration Services (SSIS) for complex ETL and automation solutions
Expert knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server Data Tools
Familiarity with supporting programming/scripting languages such as C#, XML, PowerShell, Python
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
