The Role
As a Systems Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality electrical and mechanical designs to support bespoke satellite communication systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring all designs meet the required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design satellite communication systems tailored to client requirements

• Produce electrical and mechanical drawings using AutoCAD (or equivalent software)

• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver designs to specification

• Develop bespoke satellite systems for a wide range of companies

• Ensure compliance with BS888 and BS7671 standards

Requirements

• Background in satellite communication systems or telecoms (desirable)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent design software

• Knowledge of BS888 and BS7671 standards

• Current SC Clearance, or the ability to obtain it

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
