Our client is seeking a driven and technically skilled Cloud & Managed IT Engineer to join their innovative Cloud and MIT department. This role is critical to supporting customer and internal environments, resolving complex escalations, optimising platforms, and advancing automation to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
You will work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, lead on key projects, and play a pivotal role in shaping service improvements while ensuring security, scalability, and resilience across enterprise environments.
Lead the resolution of complex technical escalations from Tier 2, ensuring root cause analysis and permanent solutions.
Act as a subject matter expert across Azure, M365, Exchange, Intune, and virtualised environments.
Design and implement automation workflows using PowerShell and Power Platform to enhance efficiency.
Champion ITIL-aligned processes, including Change, Major Incident, and Problem Management.
Serve as technical lead on strategic internal and customer-facing projects.
Collaborate with architecture and delivery teams to design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
Manage and support virtualised environments.
Participate in the on-call rota (Saturday–Sunday, 7am–7pm) to provide critical out-of-hours support.
At least 3 years’ demonstrable experience implementing, managing, and maintaining enterprise environments for global clients.
Azure Administrator (AZ-104) certification required.
ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
Proven ability to lead technical escalations and drive service improvements.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong Tanium expertise (Endpoint and Server).
Strong Okta expertise.
Strong SailPoint expertise.
Strong Proofpoint expertise.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Exchange management.
Strong understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting.
Advanced expertise in Windows 11 OS and server infrastructure support.
