Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing company with a strong presence across London and southern England, is looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in developing new business, building strong client relationships, and identifying commercial opportunities to support long-term success.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and proactive outreach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Collaborate with the internal team to support lead generation, marketing strategies, and overall brand development.
Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the company’s offerings and value proposition.
Track market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of industry developments and identify areas for growth.
Negotiate terms and agreements to secure beneficial partnerships.
Provide regular updates, pipeline forecasts, and business development reports to senior leadership.
Demonstrable experience in business development or sales, ideally within a B2B or product-led environment.
Proven success in opening new business accounts and expanding existing relationships.
Strong account management and client servicing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Commercially minded, analytical, and strategic in approach.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to travel across London and the South West as required.
