About the Role
Our client, a growing B2B tech solutions provider in the digital entertainment sector, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to play a pivotal role in maintaining their internal IT infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, innovation-led company that offers end-to-end software products and solutions to clients worldwide.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team supporting both remote and in-office colleagues, ensuring seamless day-to-day technical operations. From troubleshooting and network configuration to system maintenance and user support, you’ll have your hands in a wide range of responsibilities that help the organisation function efficiently.
Provide first-line and second-line technical support for internal systems, devices, and applications.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
Configure and maintain workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices.
Set up and support secure LAN/WAN and VPN connections.
Respond promptly to support tickets, emails, and calls with professionalism and clarity.
Perform routine system maintenance including updates, patches, and data backups.
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and IT onboarding/offboarding.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, configurations, and known issues.
Train staff on new software, tools, and best practices when needed.
Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff as appropriate.
Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and cloud-based productivity suites (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
Familiarity with networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
Hands-on experience with printers, scanners, and device troubleshooting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
A flexible and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or equivalent.
